Bio: Ghulam Ishaq Khan (January 1915-27 October 2006), sometimes abbreviated to GIK, was the 7th President of Pakistan from 1988 until his resignation in 1993, the only president to have come from the civil bureaucracy. He got degree of MSC in Botany and Chemistry from Islamia College Peshawar. Ghulam Ishaq Khan was the 7th President of Pakistan. He died on 27 October 2006.
