Bio: Vernon Rodney Coaker is a British Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Gedling since 1997. Coaker served in the Government as the Minister of State for Schools from 2009 to 2010, and he has been the Shadow Secretary of State for Defence since October 2013.
